NEWARK, Delaware — Delaware State Police have arrested a 17-year-old in the armed robbery of a Newark convenience store.

Troopers arrested the youth on Wednesday. He is charged with robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and conspiracy.

Investigators say on Dec. 10, two men, one armed with a shotgun, demanded money from a clerk at a 7-Eleven on Four Seasons Parkway.

Police say the clerk gave the robbers money from the cash register, and the suspects fled on foot.

Authorities are still looking for the second robber.
