Hamilton stays top of Scottish Premiership despite 9-game unbeaten run ending at Dundee

GLASGOW, Scotland — Hamilton stayed top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference despite an unexpected nine-game unbeaten run being ended by a 2-0 loss at Dundee on Saturday.

David Clarkson's header and Greg Stewart's strike in the second half ensured Dundee became the first team to beat Hamilton since Inverness on the first day of the season.

Inverness, which is second in the standings, beat third-place Dundee United 1-0 through Marley Watkins' goal.

Champion Celtic hosts Kilmarnock on Sunday looking to climb up from sixth place.
