MARIETTA, Georgia — Authorities in Cobb County say more than a dozen people were hurt in a crash in Marietta.

Police Sgt. Dana Pierce says a Chevrolet Blazer and a van carrying a group of children collided and ran into a wooded area Thursday afternoon.

County fire spokeswoman Denell Boyd says 13 injuries were reported but four passengers refused treatment.

The cause of the crash is unclear and authorities say none of the passengers' injuries are life threatening.
