Bank robbed in North Dakota oil boom town of Williston; 'minimal' amount of cash stolen

WILLISTON, North Dakota — Officials say a bank in the oil boom town of Williston has been robbed.

Police tell KXMC-TV (http://bit.ly/1x0Exbj ) that the robbery occurred early Thursday afternoon at First International Bank and Trust in downtown Williston.

Bank president Steve Stenehjem says the suspect was able to get away with a "minimal" amount of cash.

Stenehjem says no one saw a weapon but the situation was treated with caution.
