Isolated thunderstorms possible in south, central Georgia

ATLANTA — Forecasters are warning of isolated thunderstorms in parts of central and south Georgia.

The National Weather Service says rain could turn into isolated thunderstorms southeast of Macon Saturday afternoon and into the night.

Forecasters say storms are possible through 8 p.m. and could include wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph and occasional lightning. The National Weather Service says the potential for thunderstorms is expected to diminish after 8 p.m.
