Detroit Institute of Arts to install more than 90 reproductions of artworks outdoors

DETROIT — The Detroit Institute of Arts plans to install more than 90 reproductions of artworks outdoors around the Detroit area this spring.

The latest round of Inside/Out displays will be put up starting April 6 and will on view through July. They're sponsored by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

The first installations are planned for Fraser and Memphis. Others are planned near Wayne State University and in the Osborn neighborhood of Detroit; at Meadow Brook Hall in suburban Detroit; and in Ortonville, West Bloomfield Township, Birmingham, Hines Park and White Lake Township.

Once installation is complete, downloadable maps will be available on the museum's website.
