Police: Shooting on Detroit's east side leaves 1 man dead, 1 critically wounded

DETROIT — Police say a shooting on Detroit's east side has left one man dead and another critically wounded.

The Detroit News and broadcasters report the men in their 30s got into an argument with two men outside the home about 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Sgt. Michael Woody says it wasn't immediately clear how the situation escalated. A description of the suspects wasn't immediately available.

At the scene, investigators took photos of footprints in the snow near the home.
