NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting at a Vanderbilt University parking garage.

According to The Tennessean (http://tnne.ws/1D8rGpo), officers responded to the garage around 11:40 p.m. Saturday where they found 31-year-old Joeuan Booker with injuries from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

Authorities say Booker is not affiliated with the university, and the suspect is also believed to not have any affiliation.

According to Vanderbilt police, video evidence showed that multiple vehicles had parked in the garage, with the occupants going to a nearby business.

As the individuals returned to their vehicles, a shooting occurred, resulting in Booker's death.
