FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina — A Fayetteville woman is charged with voluntary manslaughter in the weekend shooting death of her husband.

Authorities tell local media outlets that 35-year-old Eva Lynn Hampton is charged in the death of 28-year-old Vlowski Hampton.

Fayetteville police say the shooting stemmed from a domestic argument at the couple's home early Sunday and that Eva Hampton went to the police to report the incident.

She is being held without bail at the Cumberland County jail. It was not immediately known if she had an attorney.
