NEWSTEAD, New York — State police say two people have been taken to Buffalo hospitals after their vehicle crashed off the Thruway and overturned.
Trooper say the car was traveling in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 when it crashed around 1:30 a.m. Monday in the Erie County town of Newstead, 15 miles east of Buffalo.
Police say a man in the vehicle was ejected when it rolled over. He was airlifted to Erie County Medical Center. A woman in the car was taken to another hospital. Information on their conditions isn't available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
