OKLAHOMA CITY — A former Oklahoma prison warden's wife who was convicted of helping a convicted killer escape has asked an appeals court for more time to obtain a transcript of her trial.

Defense attorney Garvin Isaacs said Wednesday that Bobbi Parker has asked the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals for additional time to purchase a transcript of the four-month-long trial. The transcript is estimated to cost more than $100,000.
Last week, the state Supreme Court denied Parker's request to order that a transcript be provided at state expense.
Parker was released from prison on April 5 after serving a little more than half of the one-year prison sentence she received. She was convicted of helping Randolph Franklin Dial escape from the Oklahoma State Reformatory more than 17 years ago.
