NYPD: Mother, young daughter killed, 4 others injured in Queens auto collision


NEW YORK — Police say a mother and her young daughter were killed and four others were injured in an auto collision in Queens.

It happened near 210th Street and Horace Harding Expressway in Bayside at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the mother and daughter were in the back seat of a car that collided with an SUV. Another young daughter in the back seat and a woman sitting in the front seat were hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say a man, possibly the car's driver, was listed in stable condition along with the driver of the SUV.

The names and ages of the victims have not yet been released.

It's not clear what caused the accident.
