AUSTIN, Texas — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis has revealed her law firm's public-sector clients, which include the Fort Worth school district and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The public-sector clients released Friday are represented by Newby Davis in Fort Worth. Davis started the firm with Brian Newby, Gov. Rick Perry's former chief of staff.
The Fort Worth state senator has been asked about her firm's clients since launching her campaign in October. She's said she needed client permission to make the list public.
It includes the Tarrant Regional Water District, the Benbrook Water Authority and North Texas Tollway Authority.
Davis spokesman Bo Delp says she's releasing the list because she believes it's the right thing to do.
The list was first obtained by the San Antonio Express-News and Houston Chronicle.
