PATH service from Hoboken and Jersey City to New York City restored

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey — PATH trains are rolling again from Hoboken and Jersey City to New York.

Service resumed Wednesday morning between Hoboken and 33rd Street and Journal Square and 33rd Street after it was suspended Tuesday because of smoky conditions.

Rail service was initially disrupted after a fire broke out Sunday in a PATH tunnel in Manhattan and damaged the system's power supply.
