18-year-old charged with painting graffiti on Delaware barn

WILMINGTON, Delaware — New Castle County Police have charged a Wilmington man with painting graffiti on a barn.

In April, police were called to a barn on the former property of the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theater in Wilmington. Officers say black lettering was spray painted on a retention wall, walkway and other parts of the building. Empty spray paint cans were found on the walkway.

Authorities say an investigation showed that five cans of spray paint had been purchased at a local home improvement business.

Eighteen-year-old Matthew Collins was charged with graffiti to a real property with damage. He was arraigned on Monday.
