Eastern Iowa man pleads guilty to robbing 4 banks in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — An eastern Iowa man has pleaded guilty to robbing four banks in Cedar Rapids.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa says 29-year-old Javon Dockery, of Cedar Rapids, entered the plea Thursday to four counts of bank robbery and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

As part of a deal, Dockery admitted to robbing a Cedar Rapids branch of U.S. Bank on April 30 and June 26. He also admitted to robbing a Cedar Rapids branch of Guaranty Bank on May 16 and May 29.

Twenty-one-year-old Bria Daudinot, also of Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of bank robbery as part of a plea deal. She admitted to driving a getaway car during one of the robberies.
