68-year-old Minot man pleads not guilty to sexually assaulting 11-year-old girl last fall

MINOT, North Dakota — A 68-year-old Minot man accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty to a charge that could send him to prison for life.

Authorities allege Lorin Hove tried to have sex with the girl last fall. He's charged with AA felony gross sexual imposition.

Hove's defense attorney says he's awaiting results of DNA testing.

Hove entered his plea in state court on Monday and is due back in court in February for a pretrial conference. His trial was not immediately scheduled.
