WESTMINSTER, Colorado — Westminster police are investigating a shooting after passers-by found a car they thought was involved in a crash.

Westminster police say when they arrived, they found the car had bullet holes and blood in it.

Police say the shooting victim was located at an area hospital, where he was in stable condition.

Westminster police spokeswoman Kate Kazell tells KMGH-TV (http://tinyurl.com/nmux5ug ) the shooting does not appear to be random and police do not believe the public is in danger.
