3 of Ohio's 4 full-service casinos see jump in March revenues over previous month


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three of Ohio's full-service casinos saw revenue increases in March compared with February, but all four were lower last month compared with March 2014.

Statewide, revenues increased 7.9 percent in March compared with February but were down 8.4 percent compared with March 2014. Horseshoe Cleveland was the only casino to collect less revenue in March than February, dipping 1.6 percent, but still had the state's highest revenue total at $19.8 million.

Horseshoe Cincinnati saw the biggest percentage drop in March 2015 compared with March 2014, at 13.1 percent. Hollywood Columbus revenues were down 10.8 percent from March 2014 to March 2015. Cleveland was down 7 percent and Hollywood Toledo down less than 1 percent.

Toledo had the biggest increase from February to March of this year at 13.3 percent.
