NEW ORLEANS — A New Orleans police spokesman says a 33-year-old man and a 7-year-old girl were shot Wednesday in the city's Central City neighborhood.
Officer Frank B. Robertson III says it happened just before 7 p.m. He says the little girl was grazed in the side by a stray bullet that went inside her home.
Her injuries are not considered life threatening and she's listed in good condition; the man is in critical condition at an area hospital. He was hit in the chest.
No word from police on a possible suspect or motive.
