MONTGOMERY, Alabama — One of the two inmates that escaped from a work release center in Montgomery has been recaptured, while the other remains at large.

Multiple media outlets report that 32-year-old Jerry A. Walker was recaptured early Saturday morning at a Montgomery Waffle House. Officials say he was recaptured without incident after authorities received a tip of his location.

Walker and 27-year-old Mark Wilson were reported missing from the Red Eagle Work Center at 10 p.m. Friday after a bed check. Both men were wearing state issued prison white outfits and Wilson remains at large.

Walker was sentenced to serve 20 years in 2008 after his conviction on a receiving stolen property charge in Montgomery County. Wilson was sentenced in 2008 to serve 25 years for a robbery in Montgomery County.
