Authorities who recovered human remains in Livermore rule death a homicide

FORT COLLINS, Colorado — Authorities who recovered human remains in the northern Colorado town of Livermore have ruled the death a homicide.

The Larimer County Coroner's Office released its finding Monday, but investigators did not say how 28-year-old Andrea Bartmess was killed.

Authorities were called Friday to the area of Red Feather Lakes Road to investigate reports of a body, which was identified as Bartmess'

Bartmess was from the Denver area but was living in the Fort Collins area. Authorities did not say how long her remains had been at the location.

No other information has been released.
