BISMARCK, North Dakota — Passenger boardings at North Dakota's eight commercial airports in January rose more than 9 percent over the year.
The state Aeronautics Commission says 96,382 people boarded planes in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, Dickinson, Williston, Devils Lake and Jamestown.
Dickinson saw the biggest over-the-year growth, of 177 percent. Fargo had the largest increase in actual passengers, with nearly 4,000 more boardings.
Fargo, Dickinson, Bismarck, Minot and Williston had their best January passenger numbers on record.
