Lawton police say woman killed when struck by vehicle on city street

LAWTON, Oklahoma — Police in Lawton say a woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on the city's south side.

Police told KSWO (http://bit.ly/1K7vd8s ) that Tia Rogers of Lawton was walking in the middle of the roadway when she was struck early Thursday morning. Police say Rogers was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

Police say the driver of the vehicle has not been arrested or ticketed, but that the incident is still under investigation.
