SDSU women's basketball team makes NCAA Tournament for 6th time; will face Oregon State Friday

BROOKINGS, South Dakota — The South Dakota State University women's basketball team has made the NCAA Tournament.

The Jackrabbits were awarded the No. 14 seed in the Spokane Region and will face third-seeded Oregon State in the first round.

The two teams square off in Corvallis, Oregon, on Friday. Whoever wins will face either No. 6 George Washington or No. 11 Gonzaga on Sunday.

SDSU is making its sixth appearance in the tournament.
