Police identify Buckhannon woman hit and killed by train

BUCKHANNON, West Virginia — Buckhannon police have identified a woman who was struck and killed by a train.

Police chief Matt Gregory tells media outlets that 68-year-old Rosalea Cutlip of Buckhannon was killed Tuesday morning.

Gregory says Cutlip's death was an accident.

The train was operated by Appalachian & Ohio Railroad. The railroad tells media outlets that the train was traveling to Burnsville when the accident occurred.
