MBTA Police: woman trespassing on tracks struck, killed by commuter train in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Massachusetts — MBTA police say a woman has been struck and killed by a commuter rail train in Attleboro.

The transit police say the woman was trespassing when she was struck by an outbound train on Track 3 about 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the Bristol County district attorney's office is investigating but foul play is not suspected.

Police described the woman as white, and about 34 years old.
