Occupy Raleigh members cleaning camp site, say they must find other ways to protest

RALEIGH, N.C. — Members of Occupy Raleigh are cleaning up the site they have maintained since November, saying it's time to find other ways to protest.

The News & Observer of Raleigh reported (http://bit.ly/KEh9qh) that Occupy Raleigh members were cleaning up the camp Sunday.

Member Jess Cronmiller says the group has no sadness about breaking camp.

Member Jess Cronmiller says the group has no sadness about breaking camp. She says members decided at a meeting in late April that the camp had served its purposed.

She says members will clean the site and plant some grass. She says they may return occasionally for meetings.
