Police: Man injured after dispute that involved sword, knife in Tulsa


TULSA, Oklahoma — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed during an altercation that involved a sword and a knife in a Tulsa street.

The Tulsa World ( ) reports officers responded to reports of a stabbing just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, and found a 61-year-old man lying in a driveway with multiple stab wounds to his head and neck. He was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

According to Tulsa police Cpl. C.J. Jackson, a man confronted the victim about money he was owed. Jackson said one man pulled out a knife and the other pulled out a sword.

Authorities are unsure which man had which weapon.
