DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Davenport woman who allowed her boyfriend to sexually abuse her three daughters has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The woman pleaded guilty in February to three counts of neglect of a dependent person. The Quad-City Times (http://bit.ly/MwrKVj) says she was sentenced on Thursday to 10 years in prison on each count, with the sentences running consecutively.
The woman's boyfriend, Jaymie Souder, pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree sexual abuse and was sentenced 50 years in prison.
Police say the abuse occurred over two years. One of the girls reported the abuse to school officials. Authorities say the girls' mother knew the abuse was occurring and did nothing to stop it.
The Associated Press isn't using the woman's name to protect her children's privacy.
