Bismarck man accused of assaulting 2 police officers; 1 officer required stitches in face

BISMARCK, North Dakota — Charges are pending against an 18-year-old Bismarck man accused of assaulting two police officers.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a mobile home park on Saturday afternoon. The man allegedly struck two officers in the face as they detained him.

One of the officers required stitches. The suspect also was treated at a hospital for unspecified injuries after being forced to the ground. He was arrested on several charges including assaulting an officer.
