Lawyer Nancy Franchini appointed to district court in Bernalillo County

SANTA FE, New Mexico — Gov. Susana Martinez has appointed Albuquerque lawyer Nancy Franchini to a district court judgeship in Bernalillo County.

The governor announced Friday that Franchini will replace District Judge Ted Baca, who retired.

Franchini received her law degree from the University of New Mexico in 1997, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado in 1994. She has worked in the private practice of law since 1997.
