Don and Carol Pope of Victoria Avenue are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Charleston, South Carolina at a later date.
They were married April 26, 1980, at Garden City Church of Christ by the Rev. Bill Eaton.
Mr. Pope is employed by Hill-Rom in Batesville.
Mrs. Pope is employed by St. Peter’s Lutheran School.
The couple have two children, Laura Pope of New York City, New York, and Amie (Joshua) Hatton of Indianapolis.
