Grain lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO — Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $4.9925 a bushel; May corn was 1.25 cents lower at $3.91 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.7775 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 3 cents to $9.7150 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .95 cent higher $1.5295 a pound; May feeder cattle was 1.98 cents higher at $2.1775 a pound; June lean hogs lost .25 cent to $.7490 a pound.
