Bicyclist killed in crash with car on Long Island

NORTH AMITYVILLE, New York — Police on Long Island say a bicyclist was killed in a collision with a car.

Suffolk County police say the victim was struck by a Lexus traveling northbound on Route 110 in North Amityville Sunday night.

He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was not injured.

The victim was not immediately identified.

Police ask anyone with information about the crash to call 1-631-852-6555.
