Police in Tulsa serving search warrant shoot, kill man who officers say opened fire

TULSA, Oklahoma — Police in Tulsa say officers serving a narcotics-related search warrant shot and killed a man who opened fire on the officers.

Officer Leland Ashley told reporters that police arrived at the home on the city's north side shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and the shooting occurred moments later. Police say the 27-year-old man died later at a local hospital.

The names of the man and the officer were not immediately released.
