NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Police say a Davidson County man has been accused of shooting and killing his neighbor after they argued about how the victim parked his car.

According to WKRN-TV (http://bit.ly/1F1K86L), the incident occurred in north Nashville around 8:20 p.m. Saturday.

Police say 36-year-old Calvin Carter began arguing with his neighbor as they were parking their cars in an alley.

According to an affidavit, Carter later went to the victim's apartment and fired two shots at him as he was stepping away from his porch. One of the shots hit the victim in his chest. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Carter reportedly admitted to shooting the victim, whose name has not been released.

Carter was charged with criminal homicide and was being held in the Metro Jail on a $1 million bond. Records do not show if Carter has an attorney.
