Connecticut man killed, woman injured in Killington crash

KILLINGTON, Vermont — Vermont State Police are investigating a one-vehicle crash in Killington that killed a Connecticut man and left a woman with minor injuries.

Police had not yet released the identities of the people involved in the Friday night crash, saying they wanted to notify next-of-kin first.

Police provided few details on the crash, other than to say it occurred on Route 4 at about 10 p.m., that the 64-year-old man was driving and that the 60-year-old woman was a passenger.

She was taken to the Rutland Regional Medical Center with what was described as a non-life-threatening injury.
