Body of 2nd canoeist found in Hudson River; boat capsized in December

HYDE PARK, New York — A body believed to be that of a second canoeist who had been missing since December has been found by a kayaker in the Hudson River.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office tells the Poughkeepsie Journal (http://pojonews.co/11P9fr8 ) that the body was found partially submerged in the river at Hyde Park Saturday morning. An autopsy Monday will determine if it's 31-year-old Barrett Raymond of Hyde Park.

Raymond and 26-year-old Baylin Coddington of Millbrook were in a canoe near the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park when it capsized in the early morning hours of Dec. 22. Coddington's body was found last Monday.

A third man in the canoe swam to shore and sought help.
