LINCOLN, Nebraska — Wyatt Mazour ran for 250 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 128 yards and three scores to lead top-ranked Boone Central/Newman Grove to a 54-14 victory over No. 2 Ashland Greenwood in the Class C1 championship game on Tuesday.

Mazour's TD passes of 8 yards to Zac Glidden and 19 yards to Travis Kennedy got the Cardinal out to a quick lead. They were up 34-7 at halftime.

Trevor Nichelson ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns for Ashland-Greenwood, and Bryce Chudomelka passed for 84 yards.
