Man suspected of robbing Albuquerque bank sought by police, FBI

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico — Authorities are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank in Albuquerque.

The FBI and Albuquerque police say a man wearing a bandanna over his face entered a BBVA Compass bank on Candelaria Road near Wellesley Drive on Wednesday morning.

The say he demanded money from a teller and left with an undisclosed amount.

He was last seen walking south on Wellesley Drive.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, bald and in his 30s. He is approximately 5-foot-7 and weighs about 200 pounds.

Witnesses say he wore sunglasses, a tan jacket, a green shirt and a white baseball cap.
