Prince George's Co. police: Man charged with killing Va. activist accused in 2 other killings

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Prince George's County police say a man accused in the fatal shooting of a northern Virginia activist is responsible for two other killings.

Police on Monday accused Tyrone Lewis of shooting a Prince George's County cab driver who was giving him a ride in 2005 and also killing a teenager in 2011.

The 26-year-old Lewis was charged in February with killing 53-year-old activist Lenny Harris of Alexandria, whose body was found at the bottom of a well in Fort Washington in January. Two other people, Linwood Johnson and Ivan Newman, were also arrested in Harris' death.
