Members accepted the low bid of just over $458,000 from Dixieland Contractors Inc. to build the drive, which will route traffic around the high school baseball field to Mcingvale Road.

The board also approved hiring Allen & Hoshall Inc. for architectural work on a new roof at the DeSoto County Career Tech East campus in Olive Branch and approved $19,000 for emergency repairs on the gym floor at Lewisburg Middle School.
