BISMARCK, North Dakota — Six North Dakota National Guard soldiers who spent nearly a year in Afghanistan are back home for Veterans Day.
The members of Detachment 42 Operational Support Airlift flew into Bismarck, Fargo and Grand Forks on Sunday.
The soldiers left last January to provide aerial surveillance and support for ground troops in Afghanistan.
