JAFFREY, New Hampshire — Search crews have come to the aid of some hikers who got lost on a school field trip at New Hampshire's Monadnock State Park.
The three hikers became separated Tuesday afternoon from the rest of the group from the Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts. They lost the trail and called one of the teacher chaperones.
New Hampshire Fish and Game officers were unable to acquire GPS coordinates from the hikers' cellphones due to poor cellular service. They were eventually found at 3:45 p.m., nearly three hours after they reported they were lost, by a search team near the White Cross Trail.
The three hikers were a little cold but unharmed.
