Motorist hurt, students not injured in Morris County school bus crash

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, New Jersey — Seven students escaped injuries in a school bus crash in Morris County.

The accident happened along Route 206 in Chester Township Friday.

Lt. Thomas Williver tells The Record of Parsippany (http://dailyre.co/1HS29Co ) the Washington Township school bus was taking the students to West Morris Mendham High School when the bus was hit by a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Miguel Velasquez of Piscataway.

Williver says Velasquez was taken to a hospital. His condition is not known.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
