Widow of Georgia shooting victim faces wrongful death lawsuit from in-laws

ATLANTA — The widow of an entrepreneur who was fatally shot outside a suburban Atlanta preschool is facing a wrongful death lawsuit from her in-laws.

The brother of Russell Sneiderman on Friday filed the complaint against Andrea Sneiderman in Fulton County Superior Court. It contends she conspired with her ex-boss, Hemy Neuman, "to manipulate and influence him" to kill her husband.

Her attorney J. Tom Morgan said he'll launch a "vigorous and complete defense to ensure that Andrea is fully exonerated of these false accusations."

Andrea Sneiderman hasn't been charged. Neuman was convicted in February and sentenced to life in prison without parole and must undergo mental health treatment.

Attorneys sought to link the shooting to an affair between the two during the trial. Andrea Sneiderman has repeatedly denied the allegations.

Her attorney J. Tom Morgan said he'll launch a "vigorous and complete defense to ensure that Andrea is fully exonerated of these false accusations."
