Officers say 19-year-old Jacquez Robinson of Wilmington was charged Monday with assault and other offenses.

Police, responding to an alert from ShotSpotter, found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg about 5:20 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say two patrol officers who saw a man running from the area ran after him and caught him.
