Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes to miss Real Betis match with foot injury

BARCELONA, Spain — Barcelona says goalkeeper Victor Valdes will miss Sunday's match against Real Betis due to an inflamed left foot.

Barcelona can clinch the Spanish league title if it beats Betis and Real Madrid drops points against Valladolid on Saturday.

Backup Jose Pinto will likely take his place in goal.

Valdes has played in 42 games this season for Barcelona.
