LEWISTON, Maine — Two New York men have been arrested on charges of selling crack cocaine in the Maine city of Lewiston.

Authorities say they searched a room at the Super 8 Motel in Lewiston and found $30,000 worth of crack cocaine, scales and drug packaging materials.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says 23-year-old Joshua Bonnett and 22-year-old Marquis Aiken, both of Brooklyn, New York, are facing charges of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

They were being held at the Androscoggin Jail on $25,000 bail each.

It was not immediately known if they are being represented by lawyers.

The two men are expected to be arraigned on Monday.
